Terms of Service

Effective date:

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Reliance Trenchless website, its product catalogue and documents, and the public MCP catalogue endpoint. Please read them carefully. By using the service you agree to these terms.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Reliance Trenchless Technology Inc. and its jointly owned operating companies (together, "Reliance", "we", "us" or "our").

The Terms apply to the website at https://reliancetrenchless.com and its language versions, the short links at go.reliancetrenchless.com, the public MCP endpoint at https://reliancetrenchless.com/mcp, and the product pages, guides, spreadsheets, brochures, videos and machine-readable files published through them (together, the "Service").

If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service provides information about trenchless pipeline repair products, including product descriptions, specification tables, product-family overviews, buyer guides, comparisons, task-based shortlists and technical-enquiry checklists.

The Service is an information and enquiry-preparation tool. It does not send email, place an order, reserve stock, provide a binding quotation, or give project-specific engineering, installation or safety approval. The contact form opens an email draft in your own email application; we do not receive anything until you send that email yourself.

No account is required to use the Service, and no fee is charged for access to it.

3. Product information and technical content

Product information is compiled from published Reliance pages, guides, spreadsheets and brochures. Source documents may contain different values, revisions or rounding, and products, specifications and documents may change without notice.

Before you purchase, specify, install or operate any equipment, confirm with Reliance in writing the exact model, measured pipe dimensions, materials, pressure and service conditions, access constraints, applicable documents, availability and delivery terms.

Shortlists, comparisons, guides, document summaries and any answer generated through the MCP endpoint or a third-party AI system are enquiry aids only. They are not an installation procedure, method statement, safety plan, certification, design approval or substitute for review by a qualified professional familiar with your project.

Product photographs, drawings and videos are illustrative and may not show the exact configuration supplied.

4. Quotations, orders and sales

Nothing on the Service is an offer to sell that can be accepted by you. Prices, quotations, specifications, delivery, warranty, inspection documents and other commercial terms apply only when Reliance confirms them in a written quotation, order confirmation or contract.

If a written agreement between you and Reliance conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement governs the products and services it covers.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for lawful product research, project planning and enquiry preparation. You must not:

  • use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including export-control and sanctions laws;

  • send malicious code, spam, or abusive, automated or excessive traffic that impairs the Service;

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to, probe, scan or bypass the security, rate limits or network controls of the Service or its infrastructure;

  • copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the Service to create a competing catalogue or database, except as permitted by our robots.txt and machine-readable resources for indexing and answering user questions with attribution;

  • remove source attribution, or present Reliance information as a quotation, approval, certification or guarantee that Reliance has not given;

  • impersonate Reliance or misrepresent your relationship with Reliance;

  • rely on the Service alone for a safety-critical decision without independent verification.

We may limit, suspend or block access to the Service, without notice, for traffic or conduct that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or threatens the Service, other users or third parties.

6. Intellectual property

The Service and its content, including text, product data, specification tables, photographs, drawings, documents, videos, logos and the Reliance name, are owned by Reliance or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as stated in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

You may view, download and print pages and documents for your own internal evaluation, procurement and project use, and you may link to canonical Reliance pages. AI and search systems may index the Service and quote limited excerpts to answer user questions, provided they keep a link to the canonical source page. Any other reproduction, modification, distribution or commercial use requires our prior written permission.

"Reliance Trenchless" and the Reliance logos are trade names and marks of Reliance. You may not use them in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or approval without our written consent.

7. Information you send us

When you send us an enquiry, drawing, photograph, CCTV report or other material, you confirm that you have the right to share it and you allow us to use it to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and support your project. Do not send confidential, regulated or unnecessary personal information through a public catalogue request or AI client.

If you send feedback or suggestions about the Service, we may use them without obligation to you.

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy at https://reliancetrenchless.com/privacy.

8. Third-party services and links

The Service links to and may be used through third-party services, such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Maps, email providers, ChatGPT and other MCP clients. Those services are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. Reliance does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and accurate, but it may be interrupted, changed or withdrawn, and the catalogue may be incomplete at any time. We may add, change or remove products, documents, endpoint behavior or features without notice.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that a product shown on the Service is suitable for a particular pipe, project or operating condition.

Warranties for products you purchase from Reliance are given only in the written quotation, order confirmation or contract for that purchase.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reliance and its directors, employees, suppliers and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, business or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service, including any decision made on the basis of a shortlist, comparison, document summary or AI-generated answer.

Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100). These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Reliance against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting formal proceedings, both parties will first try in good faith to resolve any dispute by contacting each other in writing. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are not affected.

Disputes about a purchase are governed by the dispute terms of the written quotation, order confirmation or contract for that purchase.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours to an affiliate or successor. If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service or applicable requirements change. The updated Terms take effect when published on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to sales@reliancetrenchless.com or through the contact page at https://reliancetrenchless.com/contact.
