What does trenchless mean? It means the work reaches the buried pipe through selected access points, instead of opening a continuous trench along the route. The word describes the route to the pipe, not one single product or machine. The route may use a manhole, a cleanout, or another access point. The key idea is simple: no continuous open trench along the pipe's path. If the inspection finds one local defect, the treatment can stay local. A repair packer carries a resin-and-fiberglass patch to the defect, presses it against the wall and holds it while it cures. The packer is removed after curing. The patch remains in the pipe. Watch the full explainer for the methods, equipment and selection checks.
